Advantages

Why Choose QuRapid Tropical & Vector-Borne Rapid Tests?

Essential advantages of point-of-care rapid testing for clinical practices, laboratories, and emergency triage.

Early Phase Infection Detection: Dengue NS1 detects viral antigen from Day 1 to Day 9 of symptom onset.
Species-Specific Malaria Differentiation: Critical for prescribing the correct antimalarial regimen (e.g. ACT vs Chloroquine/Primaquine).
Point-of-Care Fingerstick Sampling: Fast testing with minimal blood volume (10–20 µL) in emergency or field settings.
High Analytical Sensitivity: >99.9% relative sensitivity compared to reference microscopy.
Epidemic & Travel Medicine Screening: Essential for travelers, expats, and triage in endemic tropical regions.
Robust Tropical Climate Stability: Formulated to remain stable in room temperatures up to 30°C.

The Process

Simple 4-Step Testing Procedure

Simple and efficient clinical testing workflows.

1

Collect Specimen

Collect sample using the provided sterile swab, collection stick, or blood capillary tube according to the kit IFU.

2

Extract Sample

Insert sample into the extraction tube with pre-dispensed buffer, swirl thoroughly, and attach dropper cap.

3

Dispense Drops

Apply 2–3 drops of extracted sample into the sample well (S) of the testing cassette placed on a flat surface.

4

Read Results

Read colored test (T) and control (C) lines between 10 to 15 minutes. Results are clear and easy to interpret.

Questions About Tropical & Vector-Borne Rapid Tests

What is the clinical advantage of the Dengue Combo (NS1 + IgG/IgM) test?

Dengue NS1 is detectable early (days 1–7), whereas IgM and IgG antibodies appear from day 4 onwards. The combo test ensures zero diagnostic blind spots across the entire course of infection.

Can the Malaria Pf/Pan test detect all 4 main malaria species?

Yes. It detects Plasmodium falciparum through HRP-II and P. vivax, P. ovale, and P. malariae through the common Pan-pLDH enzyme marker.

Is fingerstick whole blood sufficient for testing?

Yes. A single lancet fingerstick blood drop (10–20 µL) added with the provided assay buffer is sufficient for clear diagnostic lines.
