Advantages

Why Choose QuRapid Tumor Marker Rapid Tests?

Essential advantages of point-of-care rapid testing for clinical practices, laboratories, and emergency triage.

Early Colorectal Cancer Detection: FOB screening catches pre-cancerous polyps and early-stage adenomas before symptoms manifest.
Upper & Lower GI Dual Coverage: Combining FOB with Transferrin overcomes the limitation of hemoglobin digestion in upper GI bleeding.
No Dietary Restrictions: Modern immunochemical FOB (iFOBT) does not cross-react with dietary animal blood, vitamin C, or vegetables.
Fast 5 to 10 Minute Results: Rapid point-of-care consultation enables immediate referral for colonoscopy or follow-up.
High Specificity for Human Blood: Specific monoclonal antibodies eliminate false positives from dietary peroxidase.
Non-Invasive & Patient Friendly: Clean collection stick and dilution vial ensure hassle-free sample collection.

The Process

Simple 4-Step Testing Procedure

Simple and efficient clinical testing workflows.

1

Collect Specimen

Collect sample using the provided sterile swab, collection stick, or blood capillary tube according to the kit IFU.

2

Extract Sample

Insert sample into the extraction tube with pre-dispensed buffer, swirl thoroughly, and attach dropper cap.

3

Dispense Drops

Apply 2–3 drops of extracted sample into the sample well (S) of the testing cassette placed on a flat surface.

4

Read Results

Read colored test (T) and control (C) lines between 10 to 15 minutes. Results are clear and easy to interpret.

Questions About Tumor Marker Rapid Tests

Why is Transferrin tested alongside Fecal Occult Blood (FOB)?

Hemoglobin in stool degrades quickly if bleeding originates in the upper gastrointestinal tract (stomach/duodenum). Transferrin is much more resistant to digestive enzymes, ensuring both upper and lower GI bleeds are detected.

Do patients need to follow special dietary restrictions before an iFOBT test?

No. Unlike traditional guaiac tests, QuRapid immunochemical FOB tests specifically target human hemoglobin and do not require dietary restrictions.

What does a positive PSA rapid test indicate?

A positive test line indicates PSA levels above the clinical threshold (e.g. 4 ng/mL). It warrants medical evaluation by a urologist to rule out prostatitis, BPH, or prostate cancer.
